Like Mother, Like Daughter
In 2004, Mayda’s daughter Tracey moved to Tallahassee to work alongside her mother in the family business. Tracey grew up around Target Copy. She graduated UNC Chapel Hill and worked in Atlanta in communications and market research. In 2009 Tracey purchased Target Copy from Mayda and became Target Copy’s Owner and President, making it a proud second-generation woman-owned business. Tracey’s husband Jeremy, who specializes in marketing and business development, joined the business in 2015.
Growing and Expanding
With an eye toward growth and expansion, Target Copy acquired two additional entities under Tracey’s leadership: Lithohaus/Mailhaus in 2015 and Modern Mailers in 2016.
In light of these expanded services, we made the decision to rebrand as Target Print & Mail. This new name reflected our extension into large scale commercial printing and direct mailing services. It was a big step in Target Print & Mail becoming more than a campus copy shop.
In 2023, Target Print & Mail also expanded its promotional product services through the acquisition of Bowman Promotional Specialties, a local promotional product company. The expansion enabled Target to provide customers with even more expertise and the support they’ve come to expect from every print, mailing and signage projects.
